PLOGGING TOGETHER
Group Thinking Wuhan: Leave No Trace in the Wilderness
The inaugural "Leave No Trace in the Wild" hiking cleanup event was launched at Yujia Mountain in Wuhan. Organized by XTERRA with participation from theFwonePublic Welfare Team, the initiative aims to promote the concept of "Leave No Trace in the Wild," encouraging participants to enjoy natural landscapes while collecting litter to restore ecological authenticity and protect the environment.
At 9:00 AM on the day of the event, participants gathered at the foot of Yujiashan Mountain, armed with garbage bags and collection tools. Under the guidance of the team leader, they ventured into the forest, embarking on an exploratory journey to collect natural materials.

As we trekked along the steep mountain path, we marveled at the natural scenery while meticulously searching for and clearing litter along the way. Whether hidden in the grassy undergrowth or scattered across the rugged slopes, traces of our hard work were everywhere.
Despite the scorching heat, everyone kept moving forward, meticulously searching for litter as they climbed the mountain. What they collected was not just pieces of trash, but also a commitment to environmental protection.
After more than an hour of climbing, we reached the summit of Yu Family Mountain. Gazing down at the lush green forests below and admiring the breathtaking natural scenery, a sense of joy and fulfillment welled up within us.
This event not only restored the original freshness and tranquility of the mountain forest, but also enabled every participant to deeply appreciate the importance of environmental protection. It is believed that everyone will pay greater attention to environmental conservation in their daily lives.
02 GROUP TRAVELING TO GUANGZHOU: Trendy and Stylish Running Experience
The second phase of the "Trendy and Cool Trash Collection" public welfare activity was held at Yuexiu Park in Guangzhou. This event was jointly organized byFwoneand Shangjin Volunteer Organization, integrating environmental protection with hiking activities. Participants collected roadside residual waste during their hikes, taking concrete actions to safeguard the green planet.
The event kicked off at 9:00 AM with participants gathering at Yuexiu Park entrance. Under the guidance of team leader William, they entered the park carrying garbage bags and garbage clamps to begin their cleanup run.
The event followed a specially designed clean-up route, passing through patriotic education sites such as Mr.Sun's Reading and Governance Office and Qing Dynasty artillery fortifications, as well as landmarks associated with ancient immortal legends including the Five Sheep Stone Statue, the Chu Court Archway (historically known as Chu Ting), and the Ming Dynasty city wall with a history of over 600 years.
While appreciating the charm of cultural landscapes and diverse scenery such as forests, grasslands, and inland lakes, participants meticulously searched for litter, collecting cigarette butts, paper scraps, plastic bottles, and other waste from roadside areas.
After more than two hours of activity, participants cleared all litter along the route, restoring Yuexiu Park to a pristine state and enhancing the city's aesthetic appeal.
Through this event, participants gained a more intuitive and clear understanding of the impact of individual actions on environmental improvement, while also enhancing their daily environmental awareness, thereby contributing their share to building a beautiful and livable city.
03PLOGGING TOGETHER: The Power of Public Welfare
The successful implementation of the public welfare campaigns "Leave No Trace in the Wild" and "Trendy Running for Environmental Protection" not only cleared substantial amounts of waste and enhanced the natural environment and urban landscapes, but also conveyed a collective positive attitude towards environmental protection and sustainable living. These initiatives collectively contribute to reducing the burden on our planet and fostering a more beautiful home for all.
Every participant of the "Leave No Trace in the Wild" campaign has put the concept of leaving no trace in the wilderness into practice through their actions, contributing to the protection of our planet. Meanwhile, XTERRA organization awarded each participant a volunteer service certificate and planted a tree in Inner Mongolia, China, to support the China Green Foundation's Million Forest Project, making efforts to address land desertification issues.
Participants in the "Trendy Running Challenge" initiative have pioneered a new philanthropic trend through this innovative movement, actively contributing to urban environmental improvement. The iVolunteer mini-program enables participants to track their volunteer hours, ensuring their efforts are recognized and visible, which motivates more individuals to join public welfare efforts, creating a virtuous cycle. Additionally, participants can freely register for volunteer credentials and voluntarily join the ranks of volunteers, collectively advancing charitable causes.
The activities ofFwonePublic Welfare Season continue, andFwonewill launch more diverse public welfare initiatives in the future. Adhering to the philosophy of 'Devoted to Public Welfare, Endless Commitment,' we will integrate additional resources to collectively contribute to environmental protection and social development.
